Resistance is Futile

Okay, I'm a complete enthusiast when it comes to the cool and unusual and that's what I'm featuring here today.

This isn't the kind of thing that today's Etsian usually sells. Lost River Rags sells amazing hand made soaps, candles and other home goodies. Wonderful stuff through and through and you'll love their shop.

But this beading board? It takes the -cake- and I want one soooo bad! Unfortunately, for me, I use both metric and imperial measurements when I'm working on my stuff so it isn't something I could claim as a practical purchase. But, that didn't keep me from drooling over it when I saw it and hasn't stopped me from returning to look at it again and again since then.

I might have to buy one just because I like it so much and hang the practicality!

Simplicity and Scent

"Oooohh, what are they?"

That was my reaction the moment I saw this beautiful picture and I had to click to see some more.

They're soaps! And aren't they gorgeous?

They're made with cooling peppermint essential oils and Shea butter that creates a scent that fits in perfect with the holiday seasons or can be used in the summer to ease off some of that sweltering summer heat.

These soaps are made with glycerin, which
is both detergent free and alcohol free, something that's important for those that have sensitive skin like I do.

These soaps and many others are sold by Wickful Things. A wonderful little shop on Etsy that's ran by a full time mom with a lot on her plate but still finds time to do what she loves, which is making candles, soap and other scented items.

She says in her profile that she truly enjoys handmade items because of the care and creativity that people put into them. This is evident in her own product too!

For example, she includes a full list of her soap's ingredients in her product listings. This is something that I, personally, appreciate a great deal since I not only have sensitive skin, but also have allergies. This is a step that a lot of marketers seem to neglect, and one that I personally see it as a sign that the seller truly cares about her customer's health and well being.
