The first thing I noticed about today's shop when I stopped by to take a browse around was this gorgeous parasol and after a quick browse, I found a handful more of them as well.
In North America today, parasols are used as fashion statements in many different styles of dress from goth to cosplay, Lolita, Victorian steampunk, wedding fashion and more. When I was little, I had one that was used to protect my skin from the sun because I'm so fair skinned. In today's shop you'll find a variety of these pretty, decorative items that, no matter the purpose you want them for, are sure to make the girl inside smile.
Also in KCDragonfly on Etsy, you can find goth fashion stockings, tarot card pouches and cell phone bags. (In fact, they have one with a dragon fly on it that I'm so in love with!)
There is also a variety of jewelry depicting ankhs, dragonflies, glass beads and more.
Kristine Cherry from Tarzana has a lot of creative interests and a definite flair towards the Gothic fashion and if you enjoy the style of the parasol you see here in this post you're sure to love a browse through her shop!

Those plum drops and the beautiful colors of the swirl beads. The whole combination just draws my eye and makes me salivate.
Absolutely gorgeous.

The shop is organized to find what you want, too! Not just with sections for each type of jewelry they offer but also an "under $20.00" section for those browsing on a budget.

A self-taught full-time wildlife artisan since 1974 inspired by the beauty of nature and with a special affinity for crows and ravens in particular. In this shop you will find a variety of creative pieces from caste raven skulls to remarkably detailed metalwork pendants, rings and more with themes based in nature such as claws and skulls, hearts and anatomy pieces, animals, reptiles, etc.
Having years of experience with metal-working from mechanics to freelance iron contracting, this artisan creates a variety of unique handcrafted ironwork pieces from wall art to signage for homes, farms and more. A husband and wife team, they work together to offer one of a kind custom designs including special orders.
Remarkable wire-work jewelry! This artisan shows an amazing talent with wire that's demonstrated in every piece of jewelry offered in her shop. These handmade artisan jewelry pieces are designed using sterling silver, copper and gemstones in styles that range from everyday-wear to gorgeous artwork to wear.
Custom handcrafted copper work sculptures, fountains, birdhouses, planters, home decor and art designed and backed by 35 years of experience. These pieces are perfect for indoor or outdoor use and the artist offers a wide variety in his shop. The birdhouses in this shop are particularly breathtaking in my opinion.
I hope you enjoyed this tour through a few of the amazing artisans and artists on Etsy whose metalwork and creative spirit has caught my eye and hopefully yours too!

Blue and brass, feathers and a touch of nautical accents. All brought together, you end up with a beautiful shop ran by a spectacular artisan. Maureen Kirchdoerfer creates gorgeous items offered in her shop, Release Me Creations (Zen25), on Etsy!
This shop is filled with a wonderful and creative collection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and cuffs, rings, cufflinks and more. I'm particularly drawn to the pieces that have a nautical and ocean theme including necklaces depicting dangling seashells and a truly spectacular brass wrist cuff with a detailed octopus design depicted on its surface.
There are even a few creative pieces like the one featured in this post that have natural elements included from seashells to fossilized sharks teeth.
Maureen puts a great deal of herself into each and every piece she designs. This creates an incredible release for her heart, mind, and soul that has assisted her through rough times and continues to soothe the soul in today's hectic world.

It's a beautiful name. Colorful. Graceful. And these qualities are perfect for it's meaning as well! Because M'Ayanna means "Mommy and Ayanna".
How did this beautiful name come about?
When today's artisan first started creating jewelry, her focus was on finding a wonderful creative outlet for her pre-teen daughter. Instead, it turned into an outlet for her! Where her daughter's interests were fleeting and waned quickly (as children's interests often do), Patrice carried on creating beautiful designs and creative jewelry.
At first just a hobby to soothe the soul, as often happens with creative people, her creativity soon overflowed and has since developed into a business as well as a hobby.
Her daughter (now 18) still contributes, although now she is the creative critique rather than a jewelry designer herself and together their shop has developed into a beautiful home for an eclectic collection of jewelry styles and designs that are sure to spice up the outfits of any who wear them!

As many of my readers already know, I'm a big fan of those with talents at knitting and crochet. But, with that said, I have to admit that's not what first drew me to today's shop. What first drew me to today's shop was the photographs of a cute pixie-like woman wearing a slouching beanie hat and a mischievous smile.
She's gorgeous, and I swear she could sell potato sacks as dresses. Not only that but she looks amazing in hats as well, which makes her the perfect model for today's feature shop.
Talk2theTrees on Etsy is a shop that's filled with hats. All kinds of crocheted hats from pixie hats and beanies to slouches, cloches, animal hats, headbands and more. There's even a handful of jewelry pieces mixed in.
Each hat is beautifully pictured and designed by hand by a very talented artisan from Salt Lake, Utah. And the amazing part? Rachel, the artist behind all of these wonderful creations, doesn't use patterns either. Everything at Talk2thetrees is an original design straight from the artist's own fountain of creativity. And she offers custom work too!
Rachel also has a second shop that offers prints and artwork as well.
Her Tree Talker on Etsy shop is filled with beautiful artwork with the same inspiration as her shop of crocheted items as well as lots of color and a personal style that easily connects both online shops to this very talented artist.
Rachel draws her inspiration from nature and trees to horror art, macabre, Halloween, mushrooms, Asian art, religion, cemeteries, dreams, antique bottles, tarot cards and palm reading.
It's a wide variety of inspiration and her artwork expresses the eclectic mix with beautiful flair and style.
I have personally fallen in love with her big-eyed art pieces like the one featured here in this post titled "Silly Squirrel", but she has a variety of styles to browse through and lots to fall in love with.... in both shops!

For today's feature shop I had an extremely hard time picking a picture. There's just so much jewelry in this shop that I've fallen in love with that it was nearly impossible to pick just one. In fact, it was so impossible that I decided to use one of the features on Etsy called an "Etsy Mini" to share four of them with you instead!
Taylor's Eclectic on Etsy is filled with beautiful colorful jewelry with a delicate, feminine flair that draws the eye and tempts my wallet... and I'm positive that it's going to tempt your wallet too no matter if you're looking for a gift for yourself or shopping for someone else.
All pieces are in Taylor's Eclectic are individually hand-sculpted of paper and wire for a unique, artisan style. There are no molds or forms involved in the work at all. Instead, each piece is a wearable sculpture, specially sealed using a technique the artisan herself developed so that they are waterproof against the worst of weather conditions.
Taylor's Eclectic also offers custom orders! So if you feel inspired by the artist's work but would like something made just to your specifications or your imagination's musings, you can contact the artist for custom work as well.
