Timeless Elegance and Style

I first ran across today's shop in the "Hearts for Hati" shop on Etsy, and at first... I thought I was looking at an antique. I was drawn... intrigued... and I wanted to see more.

I'm so happy I did, too, because what I discovered when I clicked on the link to take me to today's artisan shop was an entire shop filled with gorgeous pieces that just take my breath away. I think my heart truly fluttered.

Seriously.

I don't think I've ever seen so many beautiful, intricate pieces all collected together in one place before... and this is coming from a woman that's spent a good deal of time browsing not just on Etsy and the web but also places like Neiman Marcus and Tiffany's.

M. Stevenson Designs is the shop I'm talking about, and it's filled with a cornucopia of beautiful lockets in intricate filigree designs guaranteed to please the eye and make each piece a cherished gift for an entire lifetime.

Located in Indiana, M. Stevenson uses filigree designs, crystals, resin, sterling silver, vintage beads and brass to create pieces that are timeless not just in quality but in style and presence as well.

Her lockets are something you really have to see for yourself and you won't want to pass up once you've seen them so be sure to stop by and take a look. You won't be disappointed.

Stimulate the Senses

I love that I can feel as if I've "stepped" into a shop and be instantly bombarded by tastes and scents, even over the internet. And that's exactly what today's shop does as soon as you "step" inside.

Simple Organic Beauty is a shop
that's filled with wonderful items for your beauty and bath, from soaps and eye creams to body sprays, lip balms, lotions and more.

This shop has a bounty of not just color, but scents and flavors that transcend the plane of the internet to touch your senses as you browse.
Whether you're drawn to the scents and flavors of citrus, floral, herbs and spices or comfort foods like vanilla and chocolate, this shop is sure to have something that you're going to be intrigued to try.

Simple Organic Beauty is filled with all organic products, many of them geared towards sensitive skin, too. This is an added bonus for anyone out there that has skin problems such as dry or sensitive skin, since a lot of times it's difficult to find something commercial that works as well as some of the more natural remedies such as Simple Organic Beauty's African Black Soap with Shea.

If you love scented bath products or know someone who does, especially if you know someone with dry or sensitive skin, this is definitely a shop you'll want to check out!

Bloomin Beautiful!

Today I'm featuring one of my absolutely -favorite- people on the net!

Loren is an absolutely terrific, funny and wonderfully supportive woman that I first met through Twitter and have really enjoyed getting to know over the past few months.

Her shop, Fruits OF the BLooM on Etsy, is filled with beautiful, cute, elegant and original bows, jewelry and hair accessories that are perfect for weddings, special events and even every day wear. I'm particularly fond of those intricate bows she makes for little girls, they're absolutely adorable!

She has pieces for everyone from little girls right on up to adults and even matrons too. With tons of colors and styles available, there's sure to be something there for just about everyone!

Like me, Loren was raised in a family that encouraged creativity in every day life and fostered the artisan spirit and it shows in her work as well as in the wide array of talents she has at her disposal! This is a valuable tradition that she's currently passing down to her own daughter, Caitlin, and you can often find pieces of her daughter's talents in Loren's shop as well!

Taking Stress Down a Notch

Once upon a time, I was a very frustrated, very stressed and ultimately very A-type personality. I was constantly in a state of upheaval which left me often drained and feeling as if I hung on a precarious edge over an abysmal pit.

Then... I fell into the pit.

Yep, I did. And while I was in there, I learned a very valuable lesson that I'm going to share with you.

Everyone needs a breather now and then. In fact, we all thrive just a little better if we take one regularly. It doesn't have to be a day, or even an hour. But we all need to find a bit of peace in our day to help us plow through the stress of day-to-day existence, and when you take that breather regularly, your life is richer for it.

Today's shop provides tools to help you do just that. Their shop is filled with meditation aids and hypnosis CDs as well as Mp3 downloads geared to help you transform your life.

A lot of people scoff when they see the word "meditation" or "hypnosis" but if you're looking for a way to improve your life? I can personally attest that regular, daily meditation is the way to go. Hypnotransformations on Etsy is filled with just the thing to help you get started too. They even offer samples if you contact them so you can see if it's going to fit your needs.

A Bit of This and That

Morning! Today's shop, Our Home to Yours, is a brand new shop that's only been on Etsy since the beginning of January! I was introduced to this shop by the BEST (Boosting Etsy Shops Team) of which we're a member!

Our Home to Yours is a mother and daughter team that are offering a variety of Amigurumi kit dolls, vintage items, photo prints and a variety of other home decor items, jewelry and more. Debbi, the matriarch and crafter, is a collector and finder of cool vintage merchandise while Amanda, the daughter and artist, has delved into the world of crochet.

I, personally, am particularly fond of the little Amigurumi dolls they have in their shop, especially the little bunny with floppy lop ears and little button eyes. Go take a peek for yourself!

Cute and Unique for 100

"Oh my God, he's adorable!!" That was what I said the first time I saw this little critter pictured in today's post.

I really don't think it's possible to get any cuter than Lill Scrappy. I've never seen anything like him before and he's utterly unique, which I think makes him perfect for today's post... this blog's 100th!

I mean "unique" quite literally too. This little plushy and many more like him, are made by Karna over at Cocoon Designs on Etsy.

Each one is hand stitched together from recycled sweaters, buttons and more recycled stuff that she discovers along the way in her every day life. That makes each and every one of them 100% unique!

Lill Scrappy and many of the other dolls in Cocoon Designs are limited edition too! In fact, this one will only have five editions made total.

Cocoon Designs also offers something that you really don't see all that much from in the handmade market place, which is the option of extended payments because she wants each and every person that wants a piece of her work to have the ability to get one! How great is that?
