Photomontages, Digital Collages and Painted Photography by Lyse

ImagineStudio on EtsyToday I'd like to introduce you to a shop that's filled with fantasy, whimsy and, most of all, beautiful images. Tons and tons of beautiful images filled with mystery and imagination.

ImagineStudio on Etsy is a shop that offers much more than just regular photography.

This shop is filled with Fine Art Giclee prints of a variety of photomontages, digital collages and painted photographs all from the mind of an amazing artist from Montreal, Quebec in Canada.

The artist, Lyse, is full of love and emotion and expresses both through her work, communicating her romantic nature and her emotions into each piece that is then, when finished, offered in her shop.

Lyse has a variety of art to offer as well, from landscapes (like the one above that I fell in love with) to portraits, nudes and print sets as well as a wonderful collection of flights of fancy and other works.

The artwork is fascinating and you'll love a browse through what I consider to be her gallery. You're sure to find many that you just have to click on to get a better look at and many that will take your breath away as well.

Funky and Fun Hats and More - A Rare Post by Leal

Cyndesplace on EtsyWhile I was in the airport the other day on my way to visit family, I saw a girl wearing a knit hat that looked like a giraffe's head. Now, I have to admit, if I'd seen this hat in a store I would have thought "what were they thinking?" but looking at this girl wearing this silly hat, it just fit.

It looked fun and happy, silly and cheerful on her head. And when I commented "great hat", because it really did seem perfect for her, she brightened up with a lighter bounce to her step and a brighter smile on her face.

So, I've changed my mind about silly hats.

Cyndesplace on Etsy has a handful of cute and fun, silly and happy hats in their stock that would be perfect examples of the kind of hats I'm talking about too. Their shop has a variety of silly hats and practical purses, totes and bags. It's a place where whimsy and functional meet in handmade accessories.

Professional quality with an artisan's creative design behind their creation, the items this shop has to offer are sure to turn heads and delight the wearer whether it's yourself or if you're picking something out as a gift for someone else.

Sometimes, it's accessories that make the outfit, and this is going to be especially true when it comes to these beautiful pieces from Ayelet Shachar.

carefully handmade with an emphasis on quality, originality and inspiration derived from the natural world, these pieces are directly integrated with a mindfulness towards a woman's silhouette including its shape and curves.

The artist has a bachelors in art and design and although she has many artistic interests and endeavors, over the past few years she has most recently turned her attention to the art of sculpting leather accessories that fit harmoniously with the silhouette of a woman's body.

Cuteness Personified - Handmade Teddy Bears and Amigurumi Plushies

KnittingDreams on EtsyAdorable. And I mean adorable in bold and italics too! That's the only word that I could get out when I first saw today's shop from Bizkaia, Spain. This shop has some of the most adorable little bears and critters that I've ever seen and I think you're going to agree when you stop in to take a peek too!

KnittingDreams on Etsy is filled with little handmade teddy bears and amigurumi plushies. With big heads and little bodies and cute little noses, they're sure to capture the heart of all who see them.

For those that don't know, Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. I had to look up the word myself after I'd seen it the first time, and once you know what it means and go take a peek in this shop, you can imagine how much work goes into these little teddy bears and plushies.

In fact, so much work goes into them that when custom orders are made (YES! They offer custom orders!) it can sometimes take up to 20 days to finish a bear!

KnittingDreams on EtsyAintzi, the artist behind KnittingDreams, uses different kinds of crafting techniques combined together through research and experimentation to design her bears and plushies and you can see, even through the pictures, just how much love and care goes into the creation of each one.

None of her creations are based on patterns, so each and every one of them is a one-of-a-kind creation born of pure creativity.

Aintzi is very careful with every material she chooses for her creatures in order to get the exact texture and appearance she's aiming for, including often picking out yarn or mohair to make into her own yarn balls combining different wools and threads to create that perfect "furry" look.

YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PICTURES ABOVE TO VISIT KNITTINGDREAMS ON ETSY AND TAKE A LOOK AROUND OR, IF YOU PREFER, YOU CAN CLICK RIGHT HERE!

You may also enjoy visiting Aintzi on Facebook or Twitter or stopping by her Flickr gallery to see some more of her creations!

Colorful Modern Jewelry from Japanese Things

PaperDemonJewelry on EtsyToday I would like to introduce you to a jewelry shop with some of the most interesting jewelry designs I've seen in a long time! In fact, I've sat and looked at many of their pieces and wondered time and again... how does she -do- that??

PaperDemonJewelry on Etsy is the shop I'm talking about, and the artist behind the entire collection of beautiful jewelry pieces is Karen! Karen creates what she refers to as "organic origami", which is to say she creates one of a kind jewelry from Japanese paper and fabric!

Karen says that Paper Demon Jewelry is about thinking big and bold, and being everything you dream.

Her pieces of jewelry are made using Japanese washi and chiyogami papers and chirimen and shibori fabric to create innovative modern accessories with Japanese style that glows with color while still managing to have a natural warmth to it that distinguishes it as handmade with care.

PaperDemonJewelry on EtsyAll pieces are then treated with a proprietary (that means unique to her alone!) process to create a hard, shiny and waterproof yet still durable finish.

Karen also has a "Paper Earth" line of earth-friendly jewelry from recycled and salvaged materials that has the same color and style as her other pieces but has been created with zero carbon footprint!

PaperDemonJewelry is a gorgeous shop filled with beautiful and innovative jewelry that's bold in both style and color. Be sure to stop by and take a look! I'm especially fond of the pieces scattered within that look like stained glass but there are so many styles to choose from that you're sure to fall in love with your own choices as well!

Invitations, Announcements and more by MyaBruceDesigns on Etsy

Mondays, over time, have become team feature days on this blog and today's no different! Today's feature is a member of a team I belong to called the Boosting Etsy Shops Team where sellers all work to help each other out on marketing and promotion of their shops.

MyaBruceDesigns on Etsy is a wonderful little shop where the artist spends her time designing customized photo invitations and announcements! This started with designing these wonderful pieces for her own family and has now developed into a budding business on Etsy.

MyaBruceDesigns on EtsyMyaBruceDesigns loves working with photos and is happy to take photos of your loved ones that you send in and create beautiful, cheerful and fun announcements and invitations for special occasions and more.

How this works is very simple and easy too! You send your photo to MyaBruceDesigns along with the information you want included. Colors and fonts on many of the designs offered in their shop can often be changed or adjusted if you have a preference. The images themselves can also be adjusted to create an invitation, an announcement, a thank you note or even just note cards or stationery!

You then receive an image for review to make sure everything is just the way you want it, and once approved you can purchase and download and print them out yourself to create as many as you need!

The shop has a handful of very cute designs, and they also are happy to take custom orders if you have a photo you need altered in some way that you want to use for something different such as mugs, T-shirts, photo boxes, etc.

Journals, Pottery and More from Write Owl Designs - A Rare Post by LealAnd in the case of books with blank pages, such as journals, the phrase "anything is possible" takes on an entirely new meaning. Today's shop is filled with countless possibilities. WriteOwl on Etsy is dedicated to giving something meaningful back to people, connecting with them and encouraging them to make their own stories through imagination and creativity.

The artist, Jean, is inspired by a story she shares on her profile concerning her mother transforming the way that she sees books and journals, and her love of books has carried on into adulthood and is obvious in her Etsy shop.

WriteOwl carries a variety of journals from coptic stitch to hardback, post bound and more. There are also coasters, pencil cups and even some DIY kits for those that want to try their hand at making their own!

I'm especially drawn to this beautiful bracelet that's pictured here in this post. As a representation of the four elements, it's a gorgeous piece made from sterling silver wire bent into swirls, squiggles and spirals then combined with beautiful lampwork glass beads as focal accents. It also includes red jasper (fire) and tiger eye (earth) gemstones combined with some brown and amber Swarvoski crystals.

All together it's a gorgeous piece and a perfect representation of the kind of beautiful jewelry that you'll find in Devine Designs Jewelry shop so be sure to stop in and take a look!

Natural and Beautiful Items Made of Felt and Wool

FeltLovely on EtsyYou know.... Today's shop is proof that sometime it's worth it to click on those little ads you see on blogs and other websites now and then.

That's how I discovered today's feature shop! I clicked on an adorable little square on a website and it took me into a land of feminine cuteness and lovely creativity that I had to come and share with you!

FeltLovely on Etsy is filled with beautiful felted items from bags, corsages, tea cozies and jewelry to scarves, wraps, slippers and more.

Creativity abounds in this little shop that's filled with colorful pieces and wonderful ideas. I'm especially attracted to the little acorns. They're just adorable.

FeltLovely on Etsy
The artist uses natural materials in her pieces with preference towards the organic whenever possible. She also often incorporates vintage fabrics into her items in a combination of artistic talent and the ancient art of felting. Blended into one, she creates unique, contemporary pieces that are both beautiful and functional in today's world.

Once a resident of Scotland and now located in France, the artist behind FeltLovely has a fashionable flare to her pieces and an inspiring eye for color.

And, not only does she offer a beautiful variety of items for sale in her shop, but she also loves custom orders and offers to happily collaborate with customers on a unique item designed just for you!

Handcrafted Artisan Copper and Silver Jewellery

Handcrafted Artisan Copper and Silver JewelleryIn my artistic and craft endeavors, I find a lot of things inspiring. Nature, food, scents and flavors, sounds and music, people and personalities. There's an endless supply of inspiration out there for the creative soul and I love to tap into all those different venues.

Sometimes, I run across beads or different supplies that stir inspiration. At other times, I run across other artisans that do so.

Today's shop is one of those artisans. NicoleHill on Etsy has some of the most beautiful wire-work and chainmaille jewelry that I've seen. I've always been fascinated by chainmaille. It's one of those talents that is just mind boggling for me, with all those tiny links put together in intricate and inventive ways. When I visit Nicole's shop, I love to browse her chainmaille pieces because it reminds me that anything is possible with a little inventive creativity and ingenuity!

Nicole uses both the cool shades of silver as well as the rich warmth of copper in her jewelry, combining many pieces with gemstones and glass bits as well. She also is open to creating custom pieces to your specifications! All of her pieces are 100% handmade with care and attention to detail and are shipped from London or the south coast of France depending on where she's staying at the time.
