Natural and Beautiful Items Made of Felt and Wool

FeltLovely on EtsyYou know.... Today's shop is proof that sometime it's worth it to click on those little ads you see on blogs and other websites now and then.

That's how I discovered today's feature shop! I clicked on an adorable little square on a website and it took me into a land of feminine cuteness and lovely creativity that I had to come and share with you!

FeltLovely on Etsy is filled with beautiful felted items from bags, corsages, tea cozies and jewelry to scarves, wraps, slippers and more.

Creativity abounds in this little shop that's filled with colorful pieces and wonderful ideas. I'm especially attracted to the little acorns. They're just adorable.

FeltLovely on Etsy
The artist uses natural materials in her pieces with preference towards the organic whenever possible. She also often incorporates vintage fabrics into her items in a combination of artistic talent and the ancient art of felting. Blended into one, she creates unique, contemporary pieces that are both beautiful and functional in today's world.

Once a resident of Scotland and now located in France, the artist behind FeltLovely has a fashionable flare to her pieces and an inspiring eye for color.

And, not only does she offer a beautiful variety of items for sale in her shop, but she also loves custom orders and offers to happily collaborate with customers on a unique item designed just for you!

Felt Appliqued Pillows by Ketche on Etsy

Ketche on EtsyToday's shop is a small one, but you'll love it all the same. I know I did the minute I stepped in and took a look around. I'm not usually a fan of felt applique outside of children's clothes, but Ketche on Etsy has changed my mind.

When I saw this cat pillow (pictured here in this post) it immediately made me laugh and I had to check out the shop it had come from. What I found when I opened up the shop kept that smile the cat had spurred going.

Ketche on Etsy has a handful of adorable pillows and pillow covers with lots of personality and color. There's lots of personality and creativity in this shop that you definitely won't want to miss, especially if you're looking for that perfect quirky accent to any room in your home.

Levent, the shop owner of Ketche, designs his pillows covers with 100% cotton fabric and are then decorated with felt made 100% from post-consumer plastic water bottles. The pillows are then filled with non-allergenic poly-fill.

And, if you don't see exactly what you're looking for in his shop, he also does custom orders! (I love shops that are open to custom requests.)

Snot Monsters, Robots and Aliens.. oh my!

Having the flu is no fun. I want to send out a big thank you to Leal for trying to keep the blog going in my absence though! I think he has a whole new appreciation for the amount of dedication and work that goes into a post-a-day type blog, poor guy.

Thank you so much for those that sent me well wishes through twitter, too. I really appreciate the support!

Today's shop is a cute one. So cute
that the first time I stepped in, they shop made me smile and I fell instantly in love with the little guy pictured here in this post. His name is Rocky Monster, by the way. Not to be confused with Happy, Gleeful, Angry, Rosie or Cocoa, which are also wonderful monsters available in today's shop!

ArtsiBitsi (I love the name too!) is a little shop on Etsy that sells a wide variety of different monster and alien ware for you to browse through and adopt. They have everything from backpacks, bags and journals to iPod/phone pouches, Kleenex/tissue covers (called snot monsters), cards, tags, charms and toys.

The artist designs all the pieces herself with the help of her 1970's sewing machine named Blanche. They've been a team for some time and if you take a tour through her sight you'll see that they both have terrific fun together too!

All the monsters and aliens in ArtsiBitsi are individually designed, so when you stop by be sure to look at all of the photos in the listings to see whether there are special features, like extra tabs, buttons or pockets.

A Fuzzy Friend Named POOF!

The first time I came across today's shop, my first reaction was a soft, warm and gushy "Awwwwww!" complete with a sappy little smile.

When I was little, my mom had a little stuffed animal named Poof. In fact, I think she still has him. If I remember correctly, someone gave it to her when I was born, and it was the cutest little thing I'd ever seen.

The little felted animals sold in Felted Friends on Etsy remind me of Poof. Cute and small and just about perfect.

FeltedFriends offers handmade felted creations and children's sweaters. Each and every one of them is an original work of art made by Frances, a self-professed compulsive knitter that's been selling on Etsy since 2008.

All items in Felted Friends are hand knit by Frances in a smoke-free environment and the shop even offers custom work!
