Smooth, Sexy Skin is just the Beginning

I really think these are interesting, and when I opened up today's shop, I have to admit, it was the first thing that caught my attention. The color, I mean.

I love bath and body shops, and when I find one that combines my passion for bath products with my love for color, it creates a temptation that's nearly impossible to resist.

The second thing I noticed is that the shop owner is obviously a fellow Jane Austin fan. They don't just sell soaps, but just added a line of perfume oils named after the main characters in Jane Austin's books. How delicious is that?

Along with perfume oils and soaps, Swan Mountain Soaps is filled with a selections of lip balms, sugar and salt scrubs, shampoos, conditioners, body butters and more. It's like this perfect, beautiful utopia of scents and goodies for the bath!

Most of the “soaps” you see in stores are not really soap at all but detergent that's been stripped of its glycerin. Nearly universally, they're drying to the skin.

Swan Mountain Soap's products contain no detergents, fillers or lather boosters, no formaldehyde, and no parabens. That means what you're getting is just naturally-good, skin-loving ingredients like cocoa butter, shea butter and olive oil. (Ummm... and the occasional beer. Yep, beer!)

Making Smart People Laugh

I love snarky and sarcastic people. I've found that it takes a certain amount of wit and intelligence to pull off the attitude with flare and personality and although I'm far too tenderhearted to be a mean person, I can't help the little snicker that comes over me now and then when I watch those that -are- snarky jab on in on a close minded idiot.

Maybe that's why I like today's shop so
much, they pull this off with flare and personality.

Flytrap's logo is "We make smart people laugh" and honestly? I can't help but agree with this. The shop's filled with snarky (and sometimes mean) greeting cards, little mini notes and paper gifts for those not into the whole "rainbows and kittens" thing that Hallmark has going on.

They even have funny, fake parking tickets for people who park like jerks! They're official looking and perfect for those times when you just know it's not right to key a car or poke a hole in the tires. This is my absolutely favorite thing in their shop, but it's a hard distinction to make, because so much of their shop is so perfectly amusing that you just don't want to pass up!

Ethereal Elegance and Whimsy

I discovered today's feature shop on Etsy's front page! It was one of those fluke things, too, since I don't usually enter Etsy through the front door but prefer to enter through either my own shop or the log-in screen.

I'm so glad that I stopped by there the day I found Which Goose, though, because I really wouldn't want you all to miss this shop's beautiful offerings.

WhichGoose is filled with whimsical, beautiful hair accessories and clothing depicted in a variety of breathtaking, dreamy photographs that I personally think could be sold off as prints, all by themselves.

Emily Zych, the creator behind these beautiful pieces, is a 27-year-old graphic designer who just recently left her day job to start making the whimsical crowns and other breathtaking pieces in her shop full time. You can definitely understand her success too! Just take a look at her work and there's no way to deny she's at the head of the line for beauty, creativity and quality.

If you're looking for head pieces, decorative barrettes or bridal decorations for your hair or body, this is a shop you don't want to miss!

Bright, Big-Eyed Art

Yep, we're back to the big-eyed art for a revisit! Mostly? Because I came across this wonderful artist on Etsy that I just have to share with you.

She combines two of my favorite things, you
see. Bright, beautiful colors and that big, wide-eyed artwork design that you first saw come about decades ago depicting kittens and little kids and was just recently brought back into style via Shrek's absolutely adorable Puss-n-Boots character.

The Dreamy Giraffe Collection by Kathy R Jeffords is my fascination for today. It's a shop on Etsy that's filled with beautiful prints and original art that celebrates color just as much as I do!

Kathy Jeffords is a wonderful artist who loves to both draw as well as write, and many of her pieces have stories that go along with them. Her work is beautiful and enchanting, and so is her story! So be sure when you stop by her shop to check out her profile as well as her artwork.

Also, she has a sale going on right now that's very innovative too! She started out by dropping all of her prints to $10 and she's now gradually raising them $1 a week until they're back up to their regular price of $18. So the sooner you check her out, the better deal you'll get!

Instant Smile Therapy

Today's feature shop is ran by a very talented artisan from East Brunswick, New Jersey and she's one of the first people that I ever talked to on Twitter when I signed up for my account! In fact, she was very helpful and friendly and it's a great honor to feature her shop "The May Flower" on my blog here today.

The May Flower is filled with an eclectic collection of fashionable jewelry, accessories and clothing from the casual every day wear like the Anti-Depressant Turtle Earrings pictured here in this post to some very sophisticated and elegant clothing and accessories.

Most of May's clothing is made to order, too! So you can be sure you're getting a perfect fit. She believes that every woman has something to show, something about herself that she loves. (Which, of course, is absolutely right!) May's goal is to find that something and emphasize it through her creations!

Most of her stuff is much more sophisticated, but my personal favorite in her shop is those little turtles. I just can't help it, every time I see them they make me smile. I absolutely love them. Be sure to stop by and check her shop out for yourself!

Moms love Lillipops!

Yep, that's right, Lillipops! And if you don't know what a Lillipop is then you should really check out today's shop, Lillipops Designs on Etsy.

This shop is filled to the brim with beautiful
, whimsical garments that any little girl would be delighted to wear. And the owner and designer of these wonderful outfits, Jayme, has a lot of years of experience backing her that guarantees the pieces she's selling are going to be top notch quality too!

The pictures in Lillipops are terrific as well. They really pop off the page and you get to see examples of her creations on actual children instead of hanging on the hanger which is very useful, as anyone who's every catalog shopped can tell you!

Each of Jayme's designs is crafted using recycled garments, too, which is a great way to contribute to cutting down on waste and helping the environment by keeping such items from ending up in landfills. A cute little skirt in her shop may have once been a man's shirt, and that lovely dress you've just fallen in love with may have been a vintage tablecloth. She's also always careful to select only fabrics that are high quality, durable, clean and beautiful.

Each Lillipops Design is an original, professional crafted design. No two are alike, and they're designed to withstand washings, tree climbing, tea parties and mud pies. Jayme loves what she makes and I know you will too so be sure to check her out!
