A pair of sisters that love to create and have meshed their two styles into one to design unique handmade items. Their shop, Ardent Reverie on Etsy, is a beautiful display of this mesh of fashion and style combined with a love of crafting.
Melanie and Meghan Mina began their Etsy store in late 2009 and have made a success out of their love for crafting by sharing their creativity with others. They've won awards and drawn interest from around the world with their unique style.

I used to love taking pictures of remarkable bits of nature that most people never notice. I have boxes and boxes of photos of vistas and views, flowers and leaves, moss and fungi, etc. Reams on reams of photo negatives.
Nature has always held a special place in my heart, and I have always enjoyed sharing that love with others.
I ran into a shop the other day on Etsy with an artist who appears to feel much the same. An artist who is much more talented with a camera than I and has managed to capture breathtaking visions on film and in print to share with others.
HazyDaisy on Etsy is filled with gorgeous photographs that show a true appreciation for color and nature, both. The photographer of these amazing photos and prints is Lesley McLelland, a resident of a little area just west of Glasgow, Scotland.
She's just about 30 minutes from the sea and only an hour from the mountains which gives her a huge spectrum of wonderful subjects to work with from sea to forest to her own garden!
Like me, Lesley has always loved nature and the outdoors and sees photography as an opportunity to capture and share this love with others.
She is, bar none, one of the most inspiring nature photographers I've seen on Etsy and, with that in mind, you really need to stop by and see her work for yourself!

Today's feature shop came to me! Isn't that great? Usually, I browse and peruse Etsy in my travels around the site (and other sites such as Flickr, CraftGawker, as well as various blogs) and find artisans to feature.
I then send them a note asking for permission to feature them here on this blog and use their product pictures to show off their work.
Today's shop actually contacted me, though. And I'm so glad she did!
After I checking out Blushing Dove Boutique's on Etsy and taking a browse through the selection of jewelry and headbands, I found myself more than happy to do a feature on this wonderful shop.
What do I like best about this shop? Well there's a couple of things. First, this shop is very feminine. You see a lot of jewelry shops on Etsy (after all, I myself have one there!) but it's pretty rare to come across a shop with a very sweet and feminine flavor to it. And second? The shop has matching sets!
This is something I haven't seen many 
offer and I love it! In this shop you can find earrings that match rings (like pictured in this post), bracelets that match headbands and much more! You can buy each piece individually too so you can mix and match as you want.
The woman behind these lovely, sweet designs is Amy Lilley, from Newark-on-Trent in the UK. She's 22, which is the same age as my business partner (Leal) who you sometimes see posting here on this blog.
Her pieces have a sweet and delicate femininity about them that I think you'll enjoy so be sure to stop by and take a look around.

When I was in school, I took every pottery class I could get into (and a couple of them twice) because I loved sitting at the wheel. I found the process both creatively stimulating and yet extremely soothing. And, in my high school career, I made a LOT of vases, bowls, cups, mugs, plates, pedestals, candle holders and more on that wheel.
Yet, although I had (and have) a decent amount of talent with tossing clay, sculpting was never one of my talents and still isn't to this day.
That's not the case with today's featured artisan.
Clayworks by Kim Detmers on Etsy is filled with absolutely exquisite polymer clay pieces with the kind of detail that takes your breath away. There's fantasy fairy doors, beautiful butterflies and flowers so realistic you'll want to take a sniff of the petals.
There's so many beautiful pieces that I had a really hard time choosing just one or two to picture in this post, in fact. I wish I could include a few more!
Kim was once a "muralist" painter and some of the miniature "murals" she now creates in clay are just amazing. She has some decorative badge reels that are just downright inspiring to behold.
It's clear she's inspired by not just color but nature as well. In fact... I can imagine her spending hours in the garden staring at the flowers! How else could she make her clay ones so realistic?
Her shop offers a variety of items from hair accessories to badge reels, magnets, fairy portals, jewelry and more. There's lots to browse through and enjoy and more arrives nearly every day it seems! Each time I visit there's some new beauty waiting to stir a smile.

I discovered today's feature shop on Etsy's front page! It was one of those fluke things, too, since I don't usually enter Etsy through the front door but prefer to enter through either my own shop or the log-in screen.
I'm so glad that I stopped by there the day I found Which Goose, though, because I really wouldn't want you all to miss this shop's beautiful offerings.
WhichGoose is filled with whimsical, beautiful hair accessories and clothing depicted in a variety of breathtaking, dreamy photographs that I personally think could be sold off as prints, all by themselves.
Emily Zych, the creator behind these beautiful pieces, is a 27-year-old graphic designer who just recently left her day job to start making the whimsical crowns and other breathtaking pieces in her shop full time. You can definitely understand her success too! Just take a look at her work and there's no way to deny she's at the head of the line for beauty, creativity and quality.
If you're looking for head pieces, decorative barrettes or bridal decorations for your hair or body, this is a shop you don't want to miss!

I was absolutely fascinated when I came across today's shop, and I have a feeling that you will be too!
I have very little experience with polymer clay other than the colorful disk-like beads that you occasionally find here and there in craft shops. It's one of the mediums that I've just never tried to experiment with.
I'll tell you what though... Madeline over at 
beadsCraftz has this down pat.
Just look at the bracelet in the picture to the right if you don't believe me. Have you ever seen anything so beautiful and intricate and just... perfect? I haven't. I can't even imagine the amount of time and effort put into making this piece and many others like it that are offered over at Madeline's shop.
Madeline is a self taught polymer clay artist that has spent a lot of time experimenting to achieve the best results possible for her craft. All of her beads are made from Premo or Sculpey clay, which are both artist grade polymer clay. The use of this clay combined with Madeline's image transferring techniques create some truly stunning results that you can clearly see in the variety of pieces she has to offer.
