Whimsy, Fantasy, Fun and Silly - Playtime with FlutteringFlowers

FlutteringFlowers on EtsyIf you want cute, you have to stop by and check out today's shop! It has some of the most adorable clay art that I've seen in quite a while. Little tiny critters, great big eyes... how could they possibly go wrong??

FlutteringFlowers on Etsy is filled with whimsy, fantasy, fun and silly little items that are sure to delight and bring a smile.

The artist behind all these wonderful works learned to play with clay from her grandmother back when she was a child. Like all of us, as she aged, the responsibilities of live interceded until one day the opportunity to play presented itself again. This wonderful artisan has been "playing with clay" ever since and has a true love and enjoyment of it that you can see in every single piece of her work.

The shop has a huge variety of items for offer from plant sticks and buttons to little critters, tree sets, pins, fairies and even a few supplies! Polymer clay, FIMO and Sculpey clay all abounds here and she's talented in each! You'll love what you see and FlutteringFlowers' items are sure to draw a smile so be sure to stop by and do a bit of browsing.

Artistic Endeavors in Wire, Metal, Glass and Gems

Artistic Endeavors in Wire, Metal, Glass and GemsLike my last feature, today's is another team member although with a different team. Today's shop is a member of the Etsy Bloggers team, which is filled with wonderful, talented artisans who both sell on Etsy and blog regularly.

Devine Designs Jewelry on Etsy is a wonderful little shop that is filled with a variety of jewelry with an earthy flare and beautiful designs.

I'm especially drawn to this beautiful bracelet that's pictured here in this post. As a representation of the four elements, it's a gorgeous piece made from sterling silver wire bent into swirls, squiggles and spirals then combined with beautiful lampwork glass beads as focal accents. It also includes red jasper (fire) and tiger eye (earth) gemstones combined with some brown and amber Swarvoski crystals.

All together it's a gorgeous piece and a perfect representation of the kind of beautiful jewelry that you'll find in Devine Designs Jewelry shop so be sure to stop in and take a look!

Polymer Clay in Jewelry Design - An Etsy BESTeam Feature

Whew!! Blogger/Blogspot malfunction is now under control and we're back to your regularly scheduled program!

I have a friend who would love this pin. She has a thing for masks, and she's often expressed a fascination with the Easter Island statues that this little brooch pin is made to resemble.

The pin is from the shop of one of my BESTeam Etsy Team members, Cassandra from Ardna's Sac Etsy shop. Her shop contains a collection of polymer clay tidbits like this pin and other creative works along with a bit of jewelry, some button art and other tidbits.

Cassandra is an old-hand when it comes to polymer clay work and her initial experiences pre-date the "New Clay" by Nan Roche.

Her selection in her shop is currently a bit small but I look forward to seeing what else she comes up with and look forward to following her shop's progress. She's a member of the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy as well as a few other teams as well as a member of the New York Polymer Clay Guild.

Ethereal Elegance and Whimsy

I discovered today's feature shop on Etsy's front page! It was one of those fluke things, too, since I don't usually enter Etsy through the front door but prefer to enter through either my own shop or the log-in screen.

I'm so glad that I stopped by there the day I found Which Goose, though, because I really wouldn't want you all to miss this shop's beautiful offerings.

WhichGoose is filled with whimsical, beautiful hair accessories and clothing depicted in a variety of breathtaking, dreamy photographs that I personally think could be sold off as prints, all by themselves.

Emily Zych, the creator behind these beautiful pieces, is a 27-year-old graphic designer who just recently left her day job to start making the whimsical crowns and other breathtaking pieces in her shop full time. You can definitely understand her success too! Just take a look at her work and there's no way to deny she's at the head of the line for beauty, creativity and quality.

If you're looking for head pieces, decorative barrettes or bridal decorations for your hair or body, this is a shop you don't want to miss!
