Today was supposed to be a feature for the BESTeam, a wonderful team I've mentioned being a member of in the past on Etsy where team members support each other through various means of promotion.
I ran into a little problem tho, because the shop I am to feature is empty at the moment. (And it's a knit/crochet shop too! You all know how much I LOVE knit and crochet shops.)
I would like to mention that although the Taylor House on Etsy is currently closed for the season until cooler weather gets here, you can still take a peek and a browse at some of their sold items to see what they'll have to offer once the fall and winter season rolls around.
Still, closed as they are at the moment, I thought I'd introduce you to the blog founded by Chaucee, the artisan behind the knitted and crocheted pieces from the Tailor House shop on Etsy.
The Searched and Found is a blog that's much like this one, with a wide selection of features outlining different handmade artists and artisans you can find in the handmade market place. Chaucee and Melissa work together to create a variety of articles from Friday Finds collections to Tuesday Tunes features, Giveaways and more.
If you're looking for a little bit more inspiration for your shopping and browsing enjoyment, I definitely suggest stopping by and checking Searched and Found out as a resource.

Today I'm introducing you to another of the newer shops on Etsy. This one was opened just last month and is doing very well on sales so far... and no wonder! Even I bought a piece from them.
I bought this lovely turquoise bracelet that you see pictured here in this post and, I have to say, it's even more beautiful in person than it was in the picture in her shop (or this picture too for that matter). When I received the bracelet, I was very impressed with the attention to detail and care in workmanship. The bracelet is absolutely lovely from start to finish and I'm very happy with it.
Ellie at Eagleswings Boutique on Etsy has a number of these bracelets in different colors and designs and I can't help but be tempted to get another.
For those of my readers who also craft and do their own jewelry design, Eagleswings Boutique also offers a variety of findings, beads and tools at excellent prices. So whether you're looking for the finished product or you're looking for a few supplies, be sure to stop by and take a peek!

I have a habit of falling for a very unique combination of creepy and cute that you really don't find all that often.
Today I'd like to introduce you to a shop that fits in this category beautifully and that caught my attention at first glance
AmoMirella by Mirella von Chrupek is a shop filled with this wonderful combination of creepy and beautiful from the tag line of her shop all the way to the pieces she sells there.
Now, I have to tell you first of all, I think dolls are creepy to begin with. Not all dolls. Specifically, I find porcelain dolls that blink are just bone chilling in the creepy department. So when I found this shop? It immediately set off my creepy radar. Yet, at the same time? The work is absolutely exquisite, adorable and just downright... well, cute!
Mirella von Chrupek's pendants, brooches and other beautiful pieces are just breathtaking in their whimsical, melancholic beauty and I think you'll agree when you take a look in her shop.
This shop's stock fluctuates quite often too! Some days I've gone in and there's been only one or two lonely dolls lingering within her shop and yet other days there's pages to browse through! So be sure to look back regularly to see new artwork and creations Mirella has to share.

Let me introduce you to LarimeLoom on Etsy today! This shop is filled with handcrafted clothing, much of which is not just made by hand but can be tailored to fit with a few simple measurements.
This is a shop filled with pieces that accentuate the soft, graceful curves of a woman's body with style and grace. Not just that, but every piece is 100% handmade by Lucia Squillari.
Not only that, but all of the clothes in Lucia's shop are created without patterns! In fact, she often doesn't even draw the idea down before starting but instead lays the cloth out, grabs her scissors and starts cutting with fingers crossed for decent results. And I have to tell you, her results are far better than just decent, they're remarkable!
Some of the items in LarimeLoom are already made while there are others that she makes after an order has been placed in order to fit your measurements and/or color preferences. So, when you browse through her shop, be sure to read the listings carefully so you'll know which it is you're ordering!
Lucia loves Etsy because she loves the
freedom the site gives her to do what she wants and she often only makes one of each item because she loves creating new designs instead of getting stuck in the rut of reproductions.
Lucia's mother, Melissa, does all the photography for her shop along with help from her little (9yr old) sister, making this shop a family project that has turned out beautifully from beginning to end.
I love the soft, flowing creations she's come up with. They show a true sense of style and an eye for not just fashion and comfort but also for what looks -good- on a woman's shape. Lucia's work is gorgeous and I hope you enjoy the browse through her shop as much as I have!

Lucia also recently started spinning on an old vintage spinning wheel and it sounds like she really enjoys it! You can now find colorful hand spun yarns in her other shop on Etsy... Yarmee.
Whew!! Blogger/Blogspot malfunction is now under control and we're back to your regularly scheduled program!
I have a friend who would love this pin. She has a thing for masks, and she's often expressed a fascination with the Easter Island statues that this little brooch pin is made to resemble.
The pin is from the shop of one of my BESTeam Etsy Team members, Cassandra from Ardna's Sac Etsy shop. Her shop contains a collection of polymer clay tidbits like this pin and other creative works along with a bit of jewelry, some button art and other tidbits.
Cassandra is an old-hand when it comes to polymer clay work and her initial experiences pre-date the "New Clay" by Nan Roche.
Her selection in her shop is currently a bit small but I look forward to seeing what else she comes up with and look forward to following her shop's progress. She's a member of the Polymer Clay Artist Guild of Etsy as well as a few other teams as well as a member of the New York Polymer Clay Guild.

You really have to excuse my absence for a the couple days that I was gone because for me, the beginning of spring is a time of great celebration.
I love spring. It's my absolutely favorite time of the year. (Okay, so I say the same thing about Autumn when it comes around, but at the moment we're talking about spring!) The Equinox was yesterday too, which means spring is officially here! Long anticipated and finally here!
By the end of winter, I'm usually
suffering from a pretty hefty bout of cabin fever and winter doldrums and what this means is, as the weather shifts, I find myself outside more and more. Working in the garden, primarily, because I love flowers and herbs and I grow a variety of them each year in large pots out on my back deck.
When I came across today's shop, it was a week ago and what I found there made me smile because like the Equinox, this shop is in my opinion, a full on celebration of spring and summer.
Bomobob is an award-winning, exhibited photographer that's even been seen and/or mentioned on lofty amazing venues such as the ABC-TV series "Cupid" and CBC Radio.
He offers a wide variety of prints from garden flowers to carnival visits and much much more. The artistic angles and finishing touches on these photos make them truly unique too and just absolutely beautiful.
He's definitely me inspired to shake off my winter doldrums and do something fun outside to celebrate the season change... how about you? What do you do or what are you looking forward to doing to escape the winter doldrums?

And I want it SO BAD!!!
This is a gorgeous piece of jewelry, and although I can't remember -where- I first ran across it, I know that the moment I saw it, I fell in love.
Like all things that I have to force myself to resist the temptation to buy, that means it ends up here. Because if I can't have it and love it and cherish it... then someone should!
This sterling silver wire wrapped bracelet is called "Water Colors" and was made by wrapping 20 gauge wire around a 14 gauge core with an absolutely gorgeous and vibrant lampwork bead as the focal for the piece. I'm in love with it. Not like. L O V E... Love.
Kittyd on Etsy has a number of this style of bracelet actually. This one, in particular, caught my attention due to it's beautiful colors, but it's by no means the only beautiful piece she has in her shop. Far from it, actually.
Handcrafted Jewelry and Supplies by KittyD is filled with beautiful pieces and she has some of the most original and beautiful wire-wrapped pieces I've ever seen.

I enjoy making jewelry. I absolutely love it. It's one of the creative treasures of my life. I love shopping for jewelry too. And wearing jewelry.
I admire the craft, style and creativity that goes into every piece from concept all the way through to how a person wears it and pairs it up with their attire to create a unique "look" all their own.
Because of this love, I've seen a LOT of jewelry over the years. I can honestly say I've never seen anything quite so unique and beautiful as the pieces I browsed through in the shop featured today, though.
Today's shop is JenJewelry on Etsy, and the pieces in this shop are so beautiful and so intricate that I just couldn't tear myself away until I'd clicked on every single listing and looked at every single picture.
I can't think of a single piece in Jenny's shop that I wouldn't want to own and be honored to wear, and I can't imagine anyone else not feeling the same way too! If you don't believe me (or even if you do) this is a shop that you really have to check out for yourself to truly appreciate anyway. SO head over there and take a look! You won't be disappointed and are sure to be tempted by what you find.
