Happy Birthday to Handmade by Sandi!!!

Yep, I'm belated. But I'm not that belated because although Sandi's birthday was on the 3rd of May... She has a birthday bash sale going on until the 31st, which means I made it in time for my readers to stop over during the next week and still take advantage of her 50% of everything in her shop deal she has going on right now.

I know! 50% off everything. How is that for a sale. Seriously amazing in my opinion.

Sandi is a brave and courageous breast cancer survivor who started crocheting at a young age and after the completion of her treatment started paying it forward by creating hats and caps for other cancer patients. She likens wearing one of her completed pieces to the sensation of being hugged, and with how much love she puts into every one of her pieces, I believe her!

Handmade by Sandi is filled with crocheted gifts from child and adult lace hats to cozies for both hot or cold drinks. She also has a selection of jewelry, head scarves, Boo Boo Bunnies (very cute) and items for kitchen, bath and beyond.

With her sale going on, this is the perfect time to stop in and take a browse around, too!

A Lesson in Presentation

You know, the first time I saw these on display in a picture, it was just a set of cuffs sitting on a table, and I puzzled. I had one of those, "ummmmm, okay?" moments. I just didn't get it.

Then I saw this picture and that great big light bulb in my brain clicked on! NOW I get it! And I LOVE it.

Which just goes to show... sometimes you have to show a product being used in order for your customers to "get it".

Ruffle cuffs is a good example of this because they look absolutely awesome worn, but not so intriguing or interesting all by themselves sitting on a table. NOW? I want a pair!

So what's the wonderful shop that turned me on to this very cool style? It's Crochex on Etsy. This shop is relatively small but definitely worth visiting and you won't want to miss it!

Their prices are reasonable and their items are absolutely terrific. They carry a wide variety of items from little cozies to amigurumi animals (VERY cute) and fingerless gloves to wrist cuffs.

Baby Showers, Infants, Mommies and More

Carrying on with the theme from yesterday, I'd like to introduce you to another Etsy seller who I, personally, think should be selling their product photos as prints.

Today's seller is Tricity Hokes Creations
with a shop that's carries a number of beautiful one-of-a-kind hand crocheted items for infants, mommies and more.

In fact, they're the perfect place to shop if
you know someone throwing a baby shower soon. I sure wish I'd known about this shop last year when I'd been preparing to attend one myself!

Just look at the picture to the right, and you're sure to see what I mean about her product photos, too. Tricity Hokes is filled with beautiful pictures like this that don't just show off the products offered but do so in a beautiful, and unique way that gives you a look at just how the products are used.

Tricity Hokes provides quality items at a reasonable prices and each and every piece she makes is a unique. Each item is hand-crocheted and made in a smoke-free home, too, which makes it that much more safe for baby and mama both.

Even if you don't have a baby or know anyone who does, this shop is still worth a look. The pictures alone are just beautiful and well worth the browse. So, be sure to stop by and take a look!

Colors, Art, Fashion, and Creativity

Knit hats and scarves, ear warmers, iPod cozies, jewelry and more! That's what today's Etsian offers in her Etsy shop of wares. The shop in question is Betti by Kate, of course!

Kate Andreasen is a student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and she hopes to one day own and run her own boutique.

Betti started a year ago with just a few simple beanie hats, and a few ideas. Now, just a year later, it has grown more than Kate has ever expected an she is now always busy with custom orders as well as pushing herself to come up with new products and styles.

She has a variety of very cute and beautiful items in her shop to browse through and a blog you can follow to keep up on special updates and promotional discounts, as well!
